This is a community service message to #Mastodon folks that I write in the intersection of #AI and #Writing from a Southeast Asian perspective. I often share news about AI developments from China and SEA.

I understand the distress the #WritingCommunity has seeing this content so I urge you to block me. 🖖 (Ps: Don't have to cuss and make noise on the way out though, but I do appreciate that you are revealing yourself so I can block you too.)

For those who are writers but AI neutral or positive, I would be using #AIAsia or #AIpositive so you can follow that. For those who rather not see the content please place these hashtags in your filters.

Like you, I feel like I am wasting time dealing with bad faith comments and dealing with "gotcha" questions.

And as much as I want to be a part of the writing community on Mastodon, I doubt I am welcomed, and honestly I don't want to be a part of the anti-AI drama either. But I am a tech writer and content engineer in real life and I am tired of talking about what I do and getting flamed by people who don't understand.

I am driven to communicate the minority perspective from Asia about AI as it often gets drowned out by the majority discourse on AI. I feel that our perspectives are either being drowned out or bullied off the platform, and I refuse to give in.
