I really like Qobuz as a streaming service. But there are two things that rub me the absolute wrong way:
1. Autoplay is re-activated every time I log out.
2. I have to use a chat function to talk to customer service. I find that severely unprofessional.

I’ll reserve final judgement for later but after a few days of heavy #Qobuz usage (switching from #Spotify):
⁃ Sound quality seems a lot better
⁃ The price is lower
⁃ Transferring all my listening data took 15 minutes and cost $5
⁃ The albums have liner notes and reviews written by humans with names.
⁃ There seems to be an editorial board of humans recommending music each week
⁃ More money per play goes to the artists
⁃ Execs seem not to be pro-genocide warfare stuff -

@hannsr Oh wow, I just found out: Last.fm has even policies about this, that are being violated by #Qobuz their implementation...

And this is no random rant, I really want #Qobuz to succeed. Their idea is good, it is timely, they have a broad portfolio of applications, an acceptable catalogue, it could go places.
If they would stop snoozing when it comes to basic features (talking about the block/ban artists).

Is #Qobuz down? I can only saved and cached tracks. An all devices. The status says, everything is fine, but I doubt it.

I'd been with Tidal for years. When I transferred my library across, it stopped at 9,999 tracks and wouldn't move.
I had no idea if the rest of my saved music had made it. That uncertainty was enough for me to cancel.

Biggest thing I miss from #Spotify so far: their search is so good. I could find songs from a few words in the lyrics. #Tidal can't do that but can do a little fuzzy search on song titles. #Qobuz seems to need an exact text match on the title.
Now I will reasonably work around this just fine with the extra step of searching up the lyrics on the web to find the song title. The exodus from Spotify continues apace. Just noting a gap as I go.
