Liegt es an #Leap, oder an mir?
Wer mich kennt, der weiß das ich viel und gerne #openSUSE #Tumbleweed benutze. Nun habe ich als Hauptsystem ein Rechner mit vorinstallierten Leap ergattert und stoße immer wieder auf Probleme, die müsselig per Terminal aus dem Weg geschaffen werden müssen. Soviel gebastel war ich unter #Tumbleweed nicht gewohnt. Kleinste Änderungen an der Firewall, dem CUP-Server, der Repository-Liste usw.

sooo i tried using the new b4 review TUI for my last U-Boot PR and it was a bit of a disaster. I understand the process being a bit clunky to begin with but the whole process of actually setting up a branch was really involved. It failed to update a bunch of series on pathwork, and the b4 ty emails it generated had completely wrong commit SHAs
I get that the intention is primarily patch review but even for that it feels less like a tool i can utilise to automate the process and more like an imposed workflow that offers little flexibility
the thing that really pissed me off in the end though was realising that b4 review was VIBE CODED, kinda explains everything... This tool had so much potential but i struggle to see now how it will deliver when AI is involved in building it

Gleichzeitig revolutionieren z.B. Drohnen das Militär, machen Massenheere und Großwaffen wie Panzer & Dieselschiffe zunehmend obsolet. Auch erste Branchen wie Übersetzungen lösen sich auf. Konzernblasen drohen zu platzen, wogegen in Europa FOSS - Lösungen möglich werden.
Mehr post-fossiles Wohneigentum wären zugleich Schutz vor der fossilen Mietfalle, Mitweltschutz und Altersversorgung.

It’s been a long time coming, but I’ve finally added iCloud sync to KeyStash, my #opensource Mac app for managing license keys.
I’ve also moved the source code to Codeberg, and switched to Amore for distribution. You can of course still install via Homebrew with `brew tap ghall89/tap && brew install --cask keystash`

I keep writing about it: Self hosting LLMs is incredibly expensive (compared to hosting @openproject, @nectcloud, @xwiki or #openDesk), if you are looking for agentic capabilities, e.g. being capable to interact with MCP servers with useful results. OpenSource hosting has never been a huge cost issue, up until now. Self hosting LLMs is the achilles tendon of FOSS products at the moment. I am happy to learn the opposite.
