So after reading into the second volume of The Swamp Thing (2021) I'm impressed at how a lot of the spirit remains intact from the Alan Moore comics while still feeling very fresh and contemporary. It adopts the concepts of the anthropocene as the foundation for its horror layden story.

Fanny Packs for Care is a fund raising project between Alysia Myette Designs and Maggie's Toronto.

Maggie's provides supports and resources for underhoused and homeless fem identifying people and sex workers.

For each donation of 30$ a fanny pack will be made for a community member involved with Maggie's that includes essential care items (snacks, self care, and survival items). All funds goes towards materials and items provided.

A little while ago someone had mentioned their children as one being "sensory seeking" and the other "sensory avoidant" and I really liked that shift in language to neurodivergance was so normalized in the context and immediately saw myself in it.

I'm definitely sensory seeking... not much sets me off. If it does I don't feel upset or disrupted by it. It just feels unpleasant and I stop. I hate mouth feels that are too mushy like overcooked, soft oatmeal, and I hate the feeling of corduroy.

But some things feel strange, or intense in a shock/unexpected way that gives me tingles and I like it. Like passion fruit ice cream, oe licking 9volt batteries

Tried this out today. Unfortunately my other videos are much too long, but using a tape loop to record samples of modified,layered samples of the same loop.
