We almost had somewhere to go and park a while, but the landowner backed out. Again. And the convoy we are trying to form is moving along.So the bus is still in need of a diesel refueling, and the current prices make that a matter of about $400. Links below.
We would really love to convert this bus to an EV but that is going to need a much more generous level of help than most folks here can provide.
There are also many debts to deal with, including car loan and insurance, and bureaucratic needs that have fees to pay. Capitalism is ruthless the most when it is legally enforced and you still don't have the means.

The young folks at the Lawrencetown Education Centre (LEC) are doing a fantastic job, building houses to donate to people who lost everything in the fires (with the backing of #Rotary and some government education funding) and getting trades experience and credentials at the same time.
