Today, my daughter suddenly became very ill. She suffered from severe abdominal pain, so intense that she lost consciousness from the pain. 💔
Doctors discovered that she has kidney stones.
But in Gaza, illness itself is not the only problem… the problem is that you may not even find a way to reach a hospital. Our tent is far away, there is no transportation, and we cannot afford the cost. Reaching a hospital can become a dangerous journey in itself. A person could die before reaching a place where they can receive medical care.
We are living in conditions that are not fit for human beings: contaminated water and food, shortages of medicine, tents without the most basic necessities, and constant fear for our children.
There is no normal life, no safety, and no real access to healthcare. We are simply trying to survive one day at a time.
