I Only Have My Children Left
I had simple dreams for my children… I dreamed of seeing them grow up safely, receive an education, achieve their dreams, and have a home that would protect them and a stable life like other children.
But the war came and destroyed everything…
No home, no husband, no safety, and no life that feels like a normal life. 💔
I lost everything, and the only thing I have left is my children… They are all I have in this world.
As both a mother and a father, life has become harder than I can bear. My children need the most basic necessities of life: food, water, medical care, and education.
My daughter urgently needs her tuition fees for a new semester so she can continue her education. I am standing helplessly in front of this expense, unable to provide it for her. 😔
Please, don’t leave me alone at this difficult moment.
Any help, no matter how small, can make a huge difference in my daughter’s life and help her continue her education.

According to the plan obtained by Today magazine, the crocodiles will not be removed from the prison. Instead, they will swim freely around the wings housing Palestinian prisoners. According to the plan, known as “Establishing the Crocodile Sector in Ktzi’ot – Directorate 3000,” the crocodiles will swim in long, wide channels, in an effort to deter prisoners from attempting to dig inside their cells and escape.

A senior official in the Ministry of National Security explains: “The court ruling has nothing to do with continuing the work inside the prison. Many guards told us that the plan terrified the prisoners. They may not actually attempt to escape, but they know that the minister will not give up. They call him crazy, and from our point of view, that is a very powerful deterrent. When there is a crazy minister who fears nothing, no one dares to confront him.”

The idea had reportedly been on the mind of Itamar Ben-Gvir for about a year, coinciding with U.S. President Donald Trump’s announcement of his decision to establish a “Crocodile Alcatraz” prison for migrants in southern Florida.

Meanwhile, here in Israel, around 800 crocodiles were reportedly shot dead at the legendary Batzal farm, which had operated for forty years. While the farm’s owner is engaged in a legal battle against organizations such as the Nature and Parks Authority and the Civil Administration, Ben-Gvir decided to take advantage of the situation.

The senior official asks: “Why kill these crocodiles instead of bringing them in to guard the prisoners and provide security and care for them?” He adds: “The Deputy Commissioner of the Prison Service, Gonder Azzam, conducted a comprehensive investigation and discovered that keeping the crocodiles would be less expensive in the long run and would allow the number of personnel assigned to guard the prisoners to be reduced.”

“The Prison Service is preparing to receive the crocodiles in the best possible way. We have brought in an architectural expert specializing in building similar animal enclosures around the world, and we will employ a team of specialists to care for the crocodiles. The guards have already been trained on how to feed them safely. We have even designed a special resting area equipped with shade for the crocodiles, to ensure that everything complies with the standards approved for animal enclosures around the world.”

Lucy, a Small Soul Trying to Survive in Gaza 🐾🤍

In Gaza, suffering does not belong to humans alone. The war has also left countless animals struggling to survive—without safe shelter, enough food, clean water, or access to veterinary care.

Among them is our beloved cat, Lucy. 🐱

Lucy lives with us inside our simple tent. She is not just a pet; she is part of our family. She shares our fear, our hunger, and the uncertainty of each day. Yet despite everything around her, she still brings a little warmth and innocence into our difficult lives.

Lucy needs proper food, medical care, and important vaccinations. But with our loss of income and the overwhelming needs of our family, I can no longer provide everything she needs on my own.

She, too, is a victim of these circumstances. She deserves to be cared for, protected, and given the chance to stay healthy.

The unbearable cost of surviving in Gaza

•• In Gaza, a 75-amp battery can cost up to 10,000 shekels — around $3,300.

Imagine that.

A mobile phone screen that once cost around $50 before the war can now cost $400.

A 1,000-liter water tank that used to cost around $40 can now cost more than $300, even when it is second-hand.

These are not luxuries. They are basic necessities: electricity, communication, and clean water.

Yet their prices have become unimaginable while our sources of income have disappeared.

Every day, families in Gaza are forced to make impossible choices: food or water, medicine or electricity, repairing a phone or feeding their children.

How can a family survive when the cost of almost everything has multiplied while there is little or no income?

For my family, this is our daily reality. We are trying to provide food, clean water, and basic necessities for our children while living through conditions that have made ordinary life almost impossible.
