We no longer know which season we can feel safe in… 💔
Summer’s unbearable heat is finally fading, but instead of feeling relieved, we are starting to fear winter: the rain, strong winds, cold, and the illnesses that spread inside tents.
My tent is barely livable anymore. The sun has damaged and worn it down, and it can no longer properly protect us from the cold and rain of the coming winter. 😔
I wanted to buy some tarpaulins to repair and reinforce it before winter arrives, but even tarpaulins have become extremely expensive. Everything we need suddenly becomes more expensive, while we can barely afford our basic necessities.
I am not asking for luxury… I am asking for a tent that can protect me and my children from the harsh weather.

Sadly, while many people are enjoying peaceful and safe lives, we in Gaza no longer know what it means to truly live. 💔
We endured a brutal summer inside our tents, experiencing some of the hardest days of our lives — unbearable heat, insects, dust, and exhaustion that never seems to end. And now winter is approaching, and we are waiting for it with hearts full of fear and exhaustion.
How can a worn-out, fragile tent withstand heavy rain and strong winds? How can I protect my children from the cold and rain when we have nowhere else to go?
Our tent urgently needs repairs and renewal so that my children and I can have even a small measure of safety and shelter.
