I'm noticing there seems to be a fairly large subset of 'queer' that is exhibiting all the signs of internalised homophobia.
I was in a pub in Leeds (The Bridge Inn) I would have been about 18 or 19 years old. It was still illegal for me to be gay then. Not just frowned on...fucking illegal.
I was sitting with a group of older gay guys talking about Peter Tatchell, GLF, Outrage or one of the organisations.

Hey listen, you should definitely consider Trump and the GOP as a threat.
You should also consider Biden as a threat, just a more manageable one. I mean, he's a menace to Palestinians (some of whom are queer). He needs the votes of American Muslims and Arab-Americans (some of whom are also queer) to win, and he seems to be having NO problem spitting in those people's faces. My advice is to banish the belief that he wouldn't also throw queer folks as a group under the bus if he thought it would be useful.
Queer liberation cannot be bought with (someone else's) genocide and internment camps.
