Our study shows how even subtle #emotional #cues in #news—linking #migrant groups with #fear or #admiration—can shape readers’ explicit evaluations. Using 638 real articles and data from 2,139 participants, we highlight both the power and limits of emotion-based #stigmatization in news #reporting.
