I just finished a double red blood cell donation at Children's Hospital Boston. It's been a while since I donated since I was doing clinical trials; you can't donate blood during a trial. Now the trials are over (probably for good, I've "aged out") so I can go back to donating every 16 weeks (2RBC donations are half as often; since they take 2x red cells the body needs more time to recover).
