"The Parramatta Female Factory is a National Heritage Listed place and has three original sandstone buildings and the sandstone gaol walls. The Parramatta Female Factory was designed by convict architect Francis Greenway in 1818 and the only female building authorized by Governor Lachlan Macquarie. It comprises the 1821 Matron's Quarters and Administration and Stores Building, the 1821 Female Hospital and the 1826 3rd Class Female Penitentiary. It is the first female factory in the penal colony of New South Wales, and is located at 5 Fleet Street, North Parramatta, New South Wales, Australia. It was one of 13 female factories in the colonies of New South Wales and Van Diemen's Land.

If USians spent any time at all being informed about the foreign policy practiced on the behalf of US interests ( #capitalism and the military industrial complex) they would better understand why the US was attacked in 2001. Instead most are ignorant of decades of violent US interventions into the affairs of other nations.

I'm not sure if it's willful ignorance or just the general lack of concern USians have had about the functioning of "their" government. Regardless, it's not a valid shield for the violence done every year by the US.

The violence of #US #imperialism has never been acceptable. An economy that profits from never ending #war and war profiteering of a huge domestic arms industry should never have been but it is and it is ongoing. And USians refuse responsibility .

This is a violent nation founded on #genocide, #slavery and #colonialism. #Democracy here was always a lie cultivated by a wealthy ruling class. And it was just an extension of the same in Europe.
