I wanted to have more opinions from different people for this month's Roll the Zine so I only planned my own writing for X pages. Now I only have one piece from other people and I need to come up with a lot of new stuff to write about to get the zine published on Friday.

A good learning opportunity though: always plan own articles to fill the zine and then drop those if other writing shows up rather than the other way around.

For the interested observers of human-created infrastructure: this looks really interesting, and is New York focused but I bet if you’re not in NYC it’s still gonna have stuff that will help you spot markers in your (US especially, maybe Canadian as well? Probably less overlap with Europe/elsewhere in the world) own city.

Hi 👋🏻 The Hannover Zine Library (HZL) is introducing itself here! The HZL is currently being set up as a volunteer, one-person project by me, @janapanke.
I’ve been collecting #zines for a good two decades now, sometimes more intensively, sometimes less. Since my work involves #openness in its many different facets, I figured it would be a shame for the zines to just sit around in boxes after I’ve read them. Why not make these treasures accessible to others as well? (1/3)

The Parramatta Zone Fair is back for 2026!

This event is a great opportunity to support grassroots independent artists, journalists, and activists.

The zine creators range from migrants, to young queer and gender diverse folks, to people who are neurodivergent or have disabilities, to committed activists. And there's a broad array of topics and experiences covered in their work.
