Continuing on from my little #vegan film watching phase, I finally made time to watch #Earthlings, and if I haven't made the connection by now, I would have after watching this film.

Directed by #ShaunManson and fantastically narrated by #JoaquinPhoenix, it gives an overview of how humans use (abuse) other animals. The film is categorised into #pets, #food, #clothing, #entertainment, and #ScientificResearch. The scenes were difficult to watch, and I couldn't help but simply feel sad. 😞

The quality of the footage shows it's age (2005), though it doesn't change the fact that all the horrendous ways animals are treated in the hands of human, no matter how grainy the footage may appear.

Quality of film footage is far more superior in the film #Dominion (directed by #ChrisDelforce, from #FarmTransparencyProject), which was filmed in 2018. Continuing on from my little #vegan film watching phase, I finally made time to watch #Earthlings, and if I haven't made the connection by now, I would have after watching this film.

Directed by #ShaunManson and fantastically narrated by #JoaquinPhoenix, it gives an overview of how humans use (abuse) other animals. The film is categorised into #pets, #food, #clothing, #entertainment, and #ScientificResearch. The scenes were difficult to watch, and I couldn't help but simply feel sad. 😞

The quality of the footage shows it's age (2005), though it doesn't change the fact that all the horrendous ways animals are treated in the hands of human, no matter how grainy the footage may appear.

Quality of film footage is far more superior in the film #Dominion (directed by #ChrisDelforce, from #FarmTransparencyProject), which was filmed in 2018.
