    A man who is blind said smart glasses have been a "game-changer" in helping him to navigate life. He is a volunteer with sight-loss charity, Suffolk Sight, which recently gave him a demonstration of Meta glasses that can read things like restaurant menus and help track walking routes.

    Spannend finde ich dabei vor allem die technische und datenschutzrechtliche Seite: Welche Daten entstehen? Welche Berechtigungen braucht die App? Was wird übertragen? Wie stark ist der Cloud-Zwang? Welche Drittanbieter sind beteiligt? Und wie datensparsam lässt sich der Ring überhaupt nutzen?

    Also kein Fitnessmagazin-Test, sondern ein Blick unter die Haube.
