"Chapter 7: Tarred, Not Feathered" of "The Right to Refuse" is now on the #AO3. Looks increasingly like it's going to be 9 chapters and an Epilogue. All remaining chapters have major parts already written, but with some gaps & need for arrangements left.

Began editing and posting #TheRightToRefuse of #GalaxyRangers to the #ao3 .
The story was conceptualised and mostly written some time between 2000 and 2001 (IIRC), so way before the Covid-19 pandemic and the climate breakdown being part of the media circus. Given what we all learned since then about epidemics and fossil fuels – I believe the story held up fairly well; so I decided to weather the murderous June 2026 heatwave by editing it to take my mind off the heat.
