My friend told me she had read 8,840,748 words in fanfics since the start of this year so I did some math...

Average word count for a literary novel is 86,000 words. She has read 102.8 literary novels in fanfics this year.

This is only 70% through the year.

This is an average of 145 literary novels of fanfic a year.
12 novels a month.
0.4 novels a day.
1,444 words an hour.
Or 2,167 words every hour assuming she reads 16 hours a day.
