The joy of working on *small* software projects: The average project I work on has been around for >10 years: Python (the language), mypy (a type checker), Crystal (a website downloader), the TechSmart Platform (an LMS). Recently I’ve been hacking on gvc, a visual git diff tool built just for me. I just added 4 features to gvc in 1 day! ⚡️ For a mature project each feature can easily take a week or more. It’s so refreshing to be able to move fast when the code is small ✨ #programming #victories

So... I fired up the teapot & poured hot water through the grounds in Mr Coffee..made a not-so-bad pot. Put the hot coffee into a thermos and enjoyed my coffee.

Just found a shot of Trump flying out of Washington on Biden’s Inaugaration!! Now this is encouraging. We want that feeling again, man the relief was overwhelming.
Remember how much of a satisfying experience it was to see him have to actually GO? And we’d been socially brutalized as a nation two weeks prior. January 6th will be regarded as a stunningly treasonous, violent assault on democracy.
So watching that tacky plane remove him from Washington was exhilarating. -
