  12. Went out with some slight trepidation for today’s workout, a really challenging intervals session and something I have done before. 8x1km at 10k pace with 2 minutes recovery. Most I’ve ran in the past was maybe 6 a while back. Found it tough towards the end of the session and had to resort to my copd inhaler to help out but on the whole a good solid workout and happy with pace being consistent throughout #running #intervaltraining #corosrunning #runnersofmastodon

  20. We were dog sitting last week for a friend. It was nice spending some time with a dog; I grew up with dogs in the house, but currently we don't have any pets. Surprisingly, going for walks with the dog gave me some ideas that might help my running.

    When I went on a walk with the dog, I would jog/run with him when he wanted and stop when he wanted to sniff stuff/pee. So it ended up being like interval training but easy. None of the segments were long enough to get me out of breath. But it felt really good at the end. I am not exactly sure how to describe it, but my legs felt activated.
