What's the deal with #Linux (specifically, #Debian) and #multimonitor setups (specifically, with #ThinkPad and #DisplayPort)?
I have an #X230Tablet with a monitor (VGA) and an e-ink screen (HDMI over DisplayPort) in addition to its in-built screen, but I can only use two of them at a time. The third one just remains blank, and whichever it is, only starts working when I disable one of the other two 🫣️
Is this a general thing or just a "me and my laptop" thing?

Dustborn is the subject of the latest Detailed Report on our website.
The game has native 21:9 support with tolerable flaws, however, anything wider requires a third-party solution that has not been thoroughly tested with the game.

Rennsport is still in beta but it has already managed to become an esport, reportedly with $1M paid to its pro players.
Interestingly for a racing simulator, the game does not preserve its vertical FOV when going wider and instead offers a wide-ranging FOV slider to compensate.

@rosewsgf looked at the 100 games with the most prize money awarded in esports. 51 of the 82 PC games support 21:9 or wider, while only 9 do not. We are missing information on the rest and looking for the community to fill the gaps.

Silly #Windows 11 bug. I have one 1440x5120 wide at bottom and two HD displays above. The wide monitor is main monitor used for full-screen games, coding, browsing etc. The top monitors hold Teams, Discord etc utility programs.
I needed those HD monitors elsewhere and replaced them with cheap new 1440x2560 monitors. Their resolution together matches now the bottom monitor, fixing a bit annoying nonalignment in the whole #multimonitor desktop.
But to the bug, after replacement i couldn't move mouse between monitors 1 and 3. I had to go through 2 at top left.
Fix: In Display Settings, Multiple displays, turn off "Ease cursor movement between displays", turn it BACK ON, and click on each display "Apply". Silly.

BattleCore Arena does not steer away from Ubisoft's good track record of ultrawide and wider support. The game FOV scales as expected by ultrawide users, though there are black bars at the cutscenes.
Our report on the game is complete as far as having all the relevant screenshots and noting the behaviors, though we need to test further for any issues in order to grade the game.

MultiVersus was relaunched today. Unfortunately, it went from the rare rating of all Gold in our categories to what is likely to be Bronze for ultrawide and multi-monitor once we have had a better look at the new issues.

Not supporting #MultiMonitor would be a deal-breaker for me. I rely too much on a second screen for my workflows. -
Hades II is the subject of the latest Detailed Report submitted to our website.
It appears to be the first Supergiant game to natively support ultrawide, with 16:10 support also looking good and multi-monitor resolutions enforceable with a config edit.

Our website has been largely unchanged for over a decade, and while we have major updates planned, we're also making little tweaks to improve the current experience.
From now on, our Games DB will no longer have to be updated manually each year to let the users filter the games by the current year. The cutoff point will adjust dynamically.
The immediate change seen today is the ability to filter by 2023 and 2024.

Nixxes continue to impress with their PC ports, as the latest update to Horizon Forbidden West introduces a HUD scale option, as noted by Lyall.
Our earlier community poll indicated that having the HUD spanned is the option preferred by most 21:9 users, while constraining it is generally more preferable at 32:9 and wider.

Our latest report is in, detailing the widescreen scaling of Thirsty Suitors, be it in 16:10 or as wide as 48:9.
It is practically flawless at 21:9 and shows every sign of being as good in every other imaginable aspect ratio, though we need further confirmation before rating it for multi-monitor and 4K.

On macOS Ventura the new system settings menu has terrible integration with spotlight. Used to be able to get the display config screen up with “Displays” but that’s now “DisplaysExt” for some unknown reason. Also, displays are randomly reassigned and my rotated monitor frequently ends up in the wrong spot #rant #macos #MultiMonitor

Sometimes an algorithm points me to something I want to see and didn't know it... Had no idea that #Doom could do #multimonitor and in an interesting, unexpected (ok, impractical) way.
Also, for as much as we like to complain about #Windows, remembering what it takes to set up old systems mitigates the modern frustrations a bit.

Is there any way to toggle between "Extend desktop to this display" and "Disconnect this display" using a shortcut, registry key, or anything else?
It's annoying to do this using the mouse at least twice every day (I am sharing one display between work and gaming machine)...
