I'm glad I upgraded my PC in 2023.
Got a new CPU, motherboard, and RAM from MicroCenter in an in-store deal at the time (their combo deals are insane even today) whereby I was given 32GB of DDR5-6000 DRAM for 1 penny. (Its list price in the store was $149.99.)
I just did a NewEgg search for the same DRAM kit and found it at $933.99.

I woke up to my wife's seven o'clock alarm, which was on her phone, downstairs, nowhere near us. She didn't need to be up, this is an old alarm she hasn't turned off for a week or two. I successfully went back to sleep. I woke up again at ten-to-eight to a dream about waking her up to an alarm in some apartment we just moved into and had no furniture. I successfully went back to sleep again until it was just after ten when Trixie shoved her snout under my hand to wake me up. I expect she was looking for a breakfast.
I am one cup of ambition ☕ into my day now, and am hacking around on ProxMox some more. Since I am wheeling back and forth from my regular #BattleStation to my office server station, I feel like a mad scientist.

Okay #Battlestation nerds. Ive been rocking secretlab titan for a couple years now and... the fascination is over. The arm rests are too high leading to my shoulders hurting and theirs lottle adjustments i can make to prevent my back from feeling hurt after long hours.
Ive heard good things about herman miller and steelcase for mesh chairs but those always seemed super cheap looking and kind of like a dyson where the name was what you were buying.
Whats your chair rec? Im over 6ft tall less than 6ft 8 and weigh between 250 and 300lbs if that matters.
