If you need to switch between different Sound Outputs on Windows then you can use the NirSoft NirCMD utility to achive this with a shortcut:

' nircmd.exe setdefaultsounddevice "Desktop Speakers" '

The output device name (in quotes) will change for each system so they would need to be ajusted for your specific configuration 😊

Have one shortcut for Speakers and another for Headphones makes switching much easier than using the Windows UI.

I use a dual monitor set-up in #HomeOffice. With a hotkey I can tell my second monitor to switch from HDMI to DVI to take a peek on my linux notebook. Without fiddling with its clumsy source selection button.
