The #Framework Desktop PC really is something I'm interested in, but I wonder how the pricing will work.

At $1,099 doesn't seem too bad, buy even then it still has to battle with laptops with an RTX at that price point.

Again, the #RTX + Intel combo is readily available in terms of graphics and #AI power, so I don't see this flying off from shelves, but what do I know.

Mein #KDE #DesktopPC wird langsam altersschwach (Baujahr 2013). Viele Dinge ziehen sich in die Länge wegen schwächlicher Performance im Vergleich zu meinem Lenovo T14 Laptop.

#Tuxedocomputer hätte da einen MiniPC der mir als Arbeitspferd dienen könnte.

I have to say that I thought #Apple would give in and let users add an NVMe in the redesigned #MacMiniM4, but they didnt.

The redesign proves they don't want to, and it will be this way for at least a decade. At least easier to for the user to plug in an USB-C SSD.

There are currently still a few minor problems with the new Windows 11 24H2, which should be solved via updates. Until then, we are still installing Windows 11 23H2 on XMG laptops and desktop PCs (it is possible to manually trigger the update to 24H2 at any time if desired).

It costs $800 for 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. $1100 for 32GB/1TB.
