Ich hatte damals bei der Einführung des #SnapdragonX ja mit großen Schwierigkeiten beim Linux-Support gerechnet und zahlreiche der zu lösenden Probleme umrissen[1].

Das es nach eineinhalb Jahren zu Headlines wie "#Tuxedo gibt Linux-Notebook mit Snapdragon X auf"[2] kommt, hätte ich aber auch nicht gedacht.

Aber das zeigt schön zwei Dinge:

* Wie viel AMD und Intel tun, damit ihre Platformen gut unter Linux laufen.

* Was für Tücken bei vielen Systemen mit ARM-basierter CPU lauern, weil (a) Industriestandards, ACPI und so Sachen fehlen/ignoriert werden und (b) sich CPUs mit ARM-Kern und damit gebaute Boards halt viel stärker voneinander unterscheiden als in der x86-Welt.

Liebe Leute, ich habe, ganz im Sinne von Reduce, ReUse, Recycle, ein Experiment unternommen und auf Hardware von @tuxedocomputers von 2015 ein Tuxedo OS von 2025 installiert.
Sollte ja eigentlich kein Problem sein ... oder?

Nutzt hier jemand, Debian 13 (KDE) auf einem HP Notebook (so mit Intel Grafikeinheit)?
Ich habe das Problem, dass mir irgendwann der Bildschirm flackert (auch wenn ich nichts getrunken hab 😮)
Mit Debian 12 (KDE) ist das Problem nicht aufgetreten und mit #Tuxedo, das ich aktuell darauf nun laufen habe - habe ich damit auch kein Problem.

Hat jemand einen Tipp oder sogar eine Lösung für das Problem parat?
