In other news, my 50 odd year old poem was selected as a finalist in the RedNote 'Around the World in One Day' contest. It may be insignificant to anyone who doesn't know RedNote but I think the fact that they offered me air flight tickets and accommodation is pretty significant. They asked me to enter and somehow they thought one of my poems was 1 of 6 finalists. Kind of exciting for this old guy.

Funny the things that stick in your mind. There we were, an Italian-Canadian, a Chinese-Canadian and me, whatever I am, up on the roof putting up a satellite dish while the Italian guy's wife was hanging laundry. I said, there's a joke here, I think.

Hey crew. I know you'll know. What happened to the lone female on HNIC/SN? She made more sense than the rest, specially idiot Ron. All male now. Maybe they feel comfortable like that but I don't feel comfortable watching. The glass ceiling is getting thicker, not thinner.
