"Applying our predefined criteria, we identified a cohort of 15 herbs with the most substantial evidence for immune stimulation, characterised by numerous supporting references across in vitro, model organism and human/clinical studies. These included alfalfa, ashwagandha, astragalus, chlorella, echinacea, garlic, ginseng, green tea extract, Indian mulberry, liquorice, mistletoe, reishi mushroom, skullcap, spirulina and tinospora.
