Ein #Aspirin am Tag galt lange als harmlose Vorsorge gegen #Herzinfarkt und #Schlaganfall.
Heute wird ASS gesunden älteren Erwachsenen jedoch nicht mehr generell empfohlen. Der Nutzen ist oft gering, das Blutungsrisiko kann steigen.
Was ist bei längerer Einnahme zu beachten?

I've been taking 81 mg low dose baby #aspirin daily for over 15 years because there is a history of heart disease in my family.
There's also a history of cancer in my family & I am a #ProstateCancer survivor which was diagnosed & treated successfully in 2010.
The aspirin didn't prevent my prostate cancer but, based on this article, it could have other beneficial effects that haven't been proven yet, which IMO is a "good thing."

I've been taking an enteric aspirin every evening for my heart for at least 30 years now. No heart attacks so far, so that's good.
But sometimes I get a headache in the evening. I can't take Tylenol or ibuprofen for it, because you're not supposed to mix painkillers; it can cause sudden organ necrosis.
At the same time, I don't like to skip the enteric aspirin. So that's been a problem.
I'm thinking that maybe I should just take regular aspirin for the occasional headache. That way I would still be able to take the enteric aspirin without the danger of mixing different analgesics. What do you think?
