Going to update the extrapolation data for @voyager1 and @voyager2 tonight - this will mean that they appear to go backwards tomorrow because the original extrapolation data (from NASA!) was over-optimistic but they've taken that data down for "fine-tuning". In the meantime, we're going to be using another source which matches the numbers NASA are currently showing.

APOD: 2026 June 23 – Flying Past Neptunes Moon Triton
https://apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap260623.html"What would it look like to fly past Triton, the largest moon of planet Neptune? Only one spacecraft has ever done this -- and the images of this dramatic encounter have been gathered into a video. In 1989, the Voyager 2 robotic spacecraft shot through the Neptune system with cameras blazing. Triton is slightly smaller than Earth's Moon but has ice volcanoes and a surface rich in frozen nitrogen."

[An #ENA imager headed for #Uranus?] ENAs are energetic neutral atoms produced during #collisions in hot #plasmas. They are omnipresent in space environments.
The interplanetary probes #Cassini and #JUICE carry (or carried) an ENA imager. Various #simulations reveal that such a detector aboard the #Voyager2 probe would have provided a better understanding of Uranus’s magnetospheric environment: https://www.irap.omp.eu/en/2026/05/back-to-the-future-viewing-uranus-through-an-ena-camera/
