I just read James Davis Nicoll's Reactor column, where one of the stories mentioned was Yesteryear, the #StarTrekTAS episode by D.C. Fontana, in which after an oopsie, Spock has to use the Time Portal to go back in time to prevent himself from dying as a boy. #TimeTravel
Fine. But he steps into the portal on the Time Planet and steps out on Vulcan. More importantly, he steps back, despite there being no portal where and when he was. #StarTrek
So, is there any reason you can't use the portal to go from any planet in the galaxy to any other, one second in the past? #teleportation
Or, once Reginald Barclay had established communication with #Voyager, have the crew of that ship stop at some named planet, and have the Time Portal open a passage to them there, so someone could step through and lead them home?
