La actriz Kelley Mack perdió la vida a los 33 años. El fallecimiento ocurrió el pasado 2 de agosto, pero fue hasta días después que su familia lo hizo público.
La noticia fue difundida por los portales de información Variety y The Hollywood Reporter (THR), donde se citó un comunicado emitido por los familiares. En el texto, indicaron que la causa fue un glioma en el sistema nervioso central.
En el mensaje compartido en redes sociales, los familiares expresaron su dolor por la pérdida. “Con una tristeza imborrable estamos anunciando el fallecimiento de nuestra querida Kelley”, escribieron.
“Aquel ser brillante y ferviente ha transitado al más allá, donde todos finalmente debemos ir”, añadieron sus seres queridos a través de un post en Instagram.
Actriz de series populares
Kelley Mack alcanzó reconocimiento por su participación en series de gran audiencia en Estados Unidos. Uno de sus papeles más recordados fue en The Walking Dead, donde apareció durante la novena temporada.
También actuó en la serie médica Chicago Med, además de otros títulos como 9-1-1 y Broadcast Signal Intrusion. Su carrera incluyó trabajos en cine independiente.

Formación académica
Kelley Mack nació el 10 de julio de 1992 en Cincinnati, Ohio, donde pasó su infancia. Desde pequeña mostró interés por el cine, luego de recibir una cámara de video como obsequio.
Estudió en Hinsdale Central High School, donde concluyó su formación secundaria en 2010. Posteriormente cursó la carrera de Cinematografía en la Universidad Chapman, en California.
Se graduó en 2014 en el Dodge College of Film, una de las escuelas de cine más reconocidas del estado. Además de actuar, escribió guiones para diversos proyectos.
Sus allegados compartieron que entre sus aspiraciones se encontraba dirigir películas de autor. Parte de su trabajo creativo permanece inédito.
Mensaje de su familia
En el comunicado difundido por los medios, los padres de Kelley, Kristen y Lindsay Klebenow, confirmaron su muerte. También mencionaron que le sobreviven su hermana Kathryn y su hermano Parker.
Solicitaron respeto a su privacidad, así como comprensión por el proceso de duelo. No detallaron si habrá servicios funerarios públicos o privados.
Algunos medios informaron que su fallecimiento ocurrió en un hospital local. Sin embargo, la familia no precisó el lugar exacto ni más detalles sobre el tratamiento médico.
