    My dad was pretty much wiped out by the surgery + dexa/anti-seizure meds, by the time he got to radio-chemo phase there wasn't much of him left to save. Hopefully this will help buy more time and better quality of life for cat 4 patients #cancer #braintumour theguardian.com/science/2023/f

  12. Just putting this here, key early warning symptoms of #cancer… i ignored my symptoms for 8 months a decade or so ago when I had an inoperable #braintumour! I ended up travelling to #turkey for #cyberknife (the magic bullet of non-invasive treatment for cancerous and non-cancerous tumors) I sold my #vinyl collection to fund it (£20,000!) as it wasn’t on the #NHS at the time. Started buying it all back again in 2016 which led to opening a record shop alongside my writing.
