    On Assurances Given By Medical Practitioners To A Patient

    My still swollen face lathered with moisturiser & splashed with decades-old aftershave at 2am to stop disquieting sensations, after I applied Efudix as per my doctors instructions, has me considering what is a reasonable degree of confidence for a patient to have in assurances about short, medium and long term outcomes from their doctor.

    The topic is complex. And emotional for some patients etc
