@mwt I mistakenly thought being vegetarian was enough, for years. My body suggested otherwise in the end.
On wards, I observed only mild difference in vegetarians, but obvious improvement in vegans.
Replacing ALL animal derived foods with plant based versions minimises the inflammatory reactions the body has to animal products, and minimises cholesterol which otherwise clogs the cardiovascular system, including arteries to the brain which can cause a form of dementia and other problems if occluded (blocked).
It is likely that change in one's skin to an extent reflects change internally. It took several weeks and then my skin was visibly more alive and stayed that way, pretty much. Smoother, that bit healthier. For me it truly wound the texture 'clock' back significantly, and I suspect similar happens internally as inflammation reduces.
In my experience, the inflammation-linked aging still occured on exposure to eggs, dairy and fats derived of or exposed to animal matter. It isn't only about eating the animal corpses. Nature seems to recognise and react. Each clogs, and I saw many more cardiovascular issues in those who ate the animal products you mention than vegans. I'd expect lapses to reverse benefits of abstaining from them ...
Obviously one should intelligently research to replace with the best alternative sources. For instance, algae-derived DHA supplementation for omega oils, B12, nuts for minerals etc. YouTube has some superb plant based chef feeds. Dr. Michael Greger is a great reviewer of nutritional evidence.
I phased changes in, as I learned of alternatives. Leaving ALL animal products behind, an oily film leaves the tongue after a few days and that was a barrier to getting all flavour. So plant foods start tasting that bit better. It awakened a greater love of fresh foods such as stir fries and salads. It also encourages better knowledge of spices, and egg replacements to get great cakes etc.

Tattoos are NOT benign decorative choices.
I am a former aesthetician. Skin care was my gig for 17 years. I've always known tattoos are a stress on the body particularly the lymph system.
These two MDs are cautious but, at least, start to open up the conversation about the safety of pushing ink into the body's largest organ. (Yep. The skin is an organ.)

Imagine a dude in a tyvek suit. Now imagine him reaching behind his shoulders and grabbing the suit. He shoves the tyvek suit into his mouth and chomps and swallows while at the same time grabbing more of the suit and feeding it into his mouth.
The whole process lasts maybe ten seconds. Then the frog happily swims away.
