En tout cas, ils n'en font pas mention.

For #ageverification to truly be #privacy preserving, it shouldn't only ensure that services can't get any unnecessary data. It should also ensure that the state (including govt departments private companies acting on behalf of the state) can't get any unnecessary data, such as information about which sites you verify with. The latter, privacy towards the state, doesn't seem to be taken into account in the #eudiwallet design, as far as I can tell.

Aber für finde ich natürlich: verpflichtende Registrierungszertifikate. Ohne die wäre das für mich ein Grund die Wallet mir erst gar nicht anzuschauen. 😂

deine Aussage ist ungenau: eine Verpflichtung zur Aufnahme von Passbildern hat sich nicht durchgesetzt, aber sehr wohl gibt es jetzt die Möglichkeit zur Aufnahme dieser.
Ich sehe zwar noch keinen use case dafür und werde auch opt out machen, aber naja. Der Prototyp der Sprind hat auch dafür keine Funktion. Wo soll auch die Bundesdruckerei jetzt die Bilder her nehmen?

Für mich ist das eher gerade mehr heiße Luft.

Der Sandbox-Test in Deutschland lief mit 115 Organisationen und 150 Use Cases. Das klingt beeindruckend. Aber der Engpass ist nicht die Technik, sondern das Onboarding der Relying Parties: also der Behörden und Unternehmen, die die Wallet akzeptieren müssen. @Oleksii @linmob @phosh So you basically say #eIDAS (which mandates mutual acceptance of #eID between the member states of the EU) from 2014 is okay for you? But it was updated in 2024 to introduce this wallet. In Germany, we have several authentications methods which currently can be used with #FLOSS to use online digital services of the country, but I assume they'll limit themselves to be usable only with the wallet over the time (with paper document fallback). 1/2

Recommendations by the EU commission. As mentioned in the document, the so called "Architecture and Reference Framework" should "serve as a basis" for all EU countries implementing the e-wallet (see amended eIDAS regulation, "eIDAS 2.0").

So the basis, regardless of what different EU countries decide, is to have the app locked in the mobile phone duopoly of operating systems, Apple and Google. (Which will automatically include the so called Play Integrity API.)
