So my Corsair Void Pro, or similar... Whatever headphones did an audible crack sound as the across the head band snapped almost completely.
Still electrically connected, still working, but no longer physically sound. (See what I did there?)
Pulling off the padding strip, I can see that I might be able to patch in something to add structural rigidity to that area.
I'm thinking a plate of metal, something that I can put some screws/bolts into to affix the parts and keep it all together.
Ideally, I sound be able to put the padding back in place and not feel the fixing parts. The bridging support may need to be on the outer side of the band.

Being unemployed is giving me pretty good motivation, and creativity to attempt riding such things.

All in all, such a pain in the ass.

15 лет назад пользователи и производители не сильно задумывались о хорошем охлаждении компьютера. В передней части системного блока стоял один 120-мм вентилятор, который с трудом проталкивал прохладный воздух сквозь корзину с HDD-дисками, плотно опутанную мотками проводов. Блок питания обдувал горячим паром видеокарту, а та, в свою очередь, — процессор. Комплектующие задыхались от жара. Никакой речи о хорошей циркуляции воздуха не было. I got my computer and its RAID working again. Great!

But:
- Weird problems with sporadic lagging on my #Logitech mouse. Tried different mice and the problem went away.
- Warranty support for both #HighpointTech RAID card and #Corsair RAM has been lacking. Highpoint insists on diagnostics after making it hard to send them. Corsair hasn’t done anything more in 9 days than acknowledge the ticket.
- #Monoprice KVM continues to frustrate with auto-switching to any computer that randomly wakes up.
