I just tried to create simple store card for Apple Wallet and it was really hard to get any tool to just create a file without any subscription, creating an account or greatest of all “Just tell us what you want, our AI will then create it”. I luckily found https://walletwallet.alen.ro/, which is really helpful to do exactly what I wanted. Maybe some of you need something similar.

Die Dänen nutzen zwar kaum noch Bargeld, halten aber mehr davon bereit. Das ist Ganz im Sinne der Nationalbank des Königreichs. Wenn man bei #Sanifair aufs Klo geht und mit #Google Wallet bezahlt, wird man inzwischen danach gefragt, ob man den Coupon im Wallet speichern möchte.
Den Bon bekommt man zwar ganz normal als Papier am Drehkreuz, aber anschließend ploppt auf dem Handy die Frage auf, ob man ihn zusätzlich im #Wallet speichern möchte.
Irgendwie weird.

Hoffe ich natürlich auch. Und sowas klang im Gespräch mit Kristina (product owner der EUDIW) auch an. Aber ist save keine Priorität.
Die Kommission wird dazu nicht viel beitragen, weil die Umsetzung bei den Mitgliedsstaaten liegt.
Aber Public Code wird es. Frage ist eher wie TEE/ HSM dann umgesetzt wird.

Hoffentlich macht das BSI die Play Integrity nicht eine Voraussetzung für "sicher".Denkt ihr es macht Sinn, dem BSI dazu mal zu schreiben? Vlt sollte die Zivilgesellschaft auf den Prozess hier mehr Einfluss nehmen?

Auf der EUDI On 2026 Konferenz gestern gab es diese Neuigkeit:Die Sprind hat die EUDIW für die Zertifizierung / Pentatesting beim BSI erstmal ohne Abhängigkeit auf Play Integrity eingereicht.
Sollte es durchgehen bleibt es bei der Version ohne Google. Wenn das BSI nein sagt, wird es wieder eingebaut.

I'm still wrestling a bit with your .deb package on Debian 14 (Forky), not a clean install without complaints but #Gossip itself runs flawlessly regardless, and it's blindingly faster than any other desktop client I've tested so far.
A #Debian style repo maintained by the Gossip team itself would really be nice too instead of manually checking for a newly dropped .deb file.
It's pretty enough for me right now, and quite complete, except that #wallet is noticable in it's absence - is that on the roadmap? Amethyst desktop is all in on Tor by default out of the box. Your plans there? Honestly though Gossip looks waaaay better on desktop than #Amethyst, and I had to settle on using an #AppImage for that
Alex has added #Monero (XMR) support in #Ditto in the past few days too. I haven't started testing that yet but will do so shortly - BTW, Monero support in Mitra enjoys native integration 👋🤠
tl;dr: After only recently discovering Gossip last week I'm thoroughly elated. There's no law that says #nostr clients have to be married to #BTC or #Lightning.
Perhaps next on the horizon for many nostr clients is a #bridging feature similar to capabilities pioneered by #Mostr effectively removing perceived demarcations with the #Fediverse?

It seems that The Netherlands has followed other Member States in demanding a Google or Apple account for access to their national Digital Identity Wallet... Very unfortunate.
I really wonder how these decisions fit within the DMA frame. Definitely on the agenda for more research... If anyone has any ideas: please let me know!
