De Nederlandse overheid wil dat er minder mensen roken, overgewicht hebben of problematisch alcohol drinken.

Daarom maakte de overheid afspraken met ruim 70 partijen in het Nationaal Preventieakkoord (NPA) gesloten. Deze afspraken hebben naar verwachting onvoldoende impact. De ambities voor 2040 worden bij alle drie deze thema’s niet gehaald.
