Auf meiner S-Karte steht nicht Visa sondern Sparkasse -
Absolutely. And it needs to be available world-wide, not just inside the E.U. or Europe. Every country trying to avoid control by the USA will need into it.
And not just arm's-length -- it should be a nonprofit or whatever the E.U. equivalent of a public benefit corporation is.
EuroCard? EuroCredit? LibreCard... I like the sound of that one.

This week was the third time I've had a #VISA or #Mastercard #debit or #credit card blocked by my bank because of suspicious transactions. In *every* case, they blocked it because of transactions I was trying to carry out with perfectly normal services. I have never had my card blocked because someone else was trying to abuse it.
Have your cards been blocked for valid or for invalid reasons?
I want to understand whether these systems are actually protecting anyone.

The most common used #debit card by financially illiterate people, the #postepay card by #posteitaliane #bank is now forcing you to allow it to access the android.permission.PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS permissions from the android settings, otherwise you can only use it 3 times and then it will stop working.

Die #Debit Karte erobert ja, auch stark getrieben von den Direktbanken, grade das Land. Viele ärgern sich, Kritik ist auch oft berechtigt.
Aber: Seit ich eine habe, sinkt meine #PayPal Nutzung massiv. In Euro per Debit Karte bezahlen ist ziemlich reibungslos und die Beträge werden quasi sofort vorgemerkt. Der Käuferschutz über VISA/MasterCard ist auch relativ gut. PayPal als Mittler ist eigentlich nicht mehr nötig. SEPA gibts aber auch noch, aber Kreditkarte wird in der EU öfter akzeptiert.

#Google Wallet/Pay geht bei #DeutscheBank nicht. Deren #AndroidApp soll aber mobil bezahlen können. Das klappt mit einer #Mastercard Creditcard tatsächlich; jedes 3. oder 4. Mal. Google Pay und Garmin Pay funktioniert mit Revolut immer).
Wer die virtuelle #Debit Mastercard in deren DB App unter Android aktivieren will, läuft in einen Fehler.
Der Kundenberater sagt, "man benötige für eine virtuelle Mastercard Debit ein iPhone".
Ich: Andere Bank geht auch.

Sadly, #PayPal seems to basically be the monopoly, as #WeChatPay doesn't work outside of china and #AliPay won't tell you it doesn't work until after their #KYC shit.
Sadly, #Monero acceptance is basically nonexistant and #prepaid #debit card systems like #GeldKarte are not only rarely international and they decline hard like #SMS- & #MobileBanking.
