Applying for any visa with a "weak" passport is humiliating. For my parents to visit me, I need to convince a government that they are, indeed, my parents and we have enough money between us to sustain ourselves in their precious country. The cherry on the top is the exorbitant fee we pay additionally.
Of course, someone from here can simply pay pennies and spend half a year in Asia without needing to convince anyone.
