Pour le collectif on a pris le nom de domaine chez Safebrands (devenu BranShelter), à Marseille, et l'hébergement chez @evolix à Marseille également. Pour les DNS merci à Evolix d :blob_sweat: 'avoir géré.

Ok I managed to stop the Mail app from trying to download all the mail by changing Gmail IMAP settings to limit folder sizes to 1,000 messages, but I'm not sure what this means in the long run.

This also still doesn't explain why the Mail app was trying to download 78K when my actual "All mail" count in Gmail is less.

While futzing around with my mailbox (see other post about #gmail / #fastmail ) I ran across a message from 10+ years ago, when I was debating if I should take a new job with #nvidia or not. The email begins:

"This is Jensen Huang. I am the CEO of NVIDIA."

I can't imagine he starts out external emails like that anymore! Crazy times.

Made a support request, maybe it'll get responded to in the next few days so I can try those features. I thought "verify with a phone number" would have been sufficient to let me...test email with an email provider. Sigh.

(I really would like to just shut off my SMTP servers vs installing an IMAP one)

All of a sudden I saw summarize this in Gmail.
Without my consent Google enabled LLM slop in Gmail.

They call it smart features you have to turn it off per account, and need to check after every patch of Gmail if they turned it back on

This is only important on a simple tight spaced Android of mine. All others have open source clients
