final stop, a screen from a 2013 Air that doesn't need it no more as it's now a dedicated #jellyfin player, on account of being 4 GB only. case is easy on the scuffs and scratches, the screen itself is spotless. lights up, no dead pixels, webcam and wireless (antennas are in the screen) all work!
in a pinch, you could use 2011/12 parts; the only thing that can't fit is the webcam cable, which got repositioned on later models.

Am in the process of upgrading my Jellyfin installation to the latest version 12.1.0.

After correcting the xml file the upgrade is now "hanging" on step 1 of 20 (ChangeOwnerIdToGuid).

Found the #jellyfin ph15ch/Jellyfin-Transcode-Downloader https://share.google/f6PyxghwvBbb8MCRH which seems like it does just what I want... except it's not working properly on Jellyfin 12.1 (no options to select codecs).
Do I choose some other path?
Do I just let my clanker Codex go hack at it for a quick fix? (And submit a MR)
Do I just throw together a #bash script to #ffmpeg the originals into a new file for me and call it a day?
