@stux Additional to #Jellyfin I use #Tailscale to remotely access my home server. Works wonderfully, even with my ancient devices.

Didn't know CrowdSec until recently, but I'm quite impressed. Thought I'd share: I'm protecting my Jellyfin and audiobookshelf via nginx logs for a few days now and it's very promising, especially the proactive blocking via the global community list.

Now looking for a nice GUI (alerts/stats/unbanning) since the official panel's pricing isn't for home users. Please only recommend tools you've actually used (I know how to Kagi 😊!).

Meine #Jellyfin Datenbank hat sich komplett zerschossen. Nach dem letzten Update des Docker Containers auf der Synology sagt die Seiten Bibliothek, dass alles die dänische Seite Sonja aus den 60ern ist. Habe schon alles mögliche versucht kennt sich jemensch hier damit aus und hat zufällig eine Lösung oder einen Tipp wo ich fündig werden könnte. Wenn ich nach dem Problem suche, bekomme ich immer Lösungen die das händische Neueintragen in der Datenbank vorsehen.

Can I move a playlist/collection from one drive target to another or something along those lines in plex?

My network drive is not playing nice, want to not waste more time creating new lists for this backup external drive I'm using instead now.

Maybe this works better in Jellyfin, which I haven't checked out yet?

I have lifetime plex pass but the system is kind of not flawless.

I'm using this to listening to music remotely primarily lately.

Estoy intentando convertir Jellyfin en mi "app para todo lo multimedia"

Sé que hay cosas mejores si vas a buscar apps separadas (Navidrome -- <3 -- Yo) pero me mola la idea de usar la misma app para todo, veremos como sale.

De todas maneras, como todo lo que es historial de escuchas y favoritos esta sincronizado con ListenBrainz, no pierdo nada por cambiar de server de música.

Ahora tengo ya la música y los vídeos de youtube, ahora queda:

- Podcasts ( si el plugin se baja los episodios me podria quitar otro container)
- Smart playlists

So there seems to be a null pointer dereference bug in certain #Linux kernels, like 7.1.x, that has been causing issues with my #Jellyfin server on #Debian. I'm not enough of an expert to fully understand it, but one indication was that htop would also have issues when the issue began, and it has something to do with the movement, translation or compaction of memory during GPU workloads, like transcoding. The solution, for now, besides downgrading the kernel, seems to be to disable HMM or IOMMU.
