I have to laugh, because it's not like it was hard. I just never thought of it before and it definitely has an appeal to me over wearing down my phone battery watching stuff when I'm on the go.

Found the #jellyfin ph15ch/Jellyfin-Transcode-Downloader https://share.google/f6PyxghwvBbb8MCRH which seems like it does just what I want... except it's not working properly on Jellyfin 12.1 (no options to select codecs).
Do I choose some other path?
Do I just let my clanker Codex go hack at it for a quick fix? (And submit a MR)
Do I just throw together a #bash script to #ffmpeg the originals into a new file for me and call it a day?

Found a still working version but I get this error message when saving my credentials. Any idea if I can fix it?

También estoy en pruebas para reemplazar #Plex por #Jellyfin, que con la versión 12 han dado un gran salto cualitativo. A nivel servidor no le tiene nada que envidiar, pero su punto débil siguen siendo sus aplicaciones clientes. El cliente para #Xbox es un navegador embebido y no permite reproducción directa en H265, por lo que necesita conversión a H264 primero (menos mal que desde que actualicé el servidor tengo recursos para ello, pero es un gran punto negativo). Tengo que probar a ver cómo va en #PS5 para decidir si doy el salto definitivamente.
