Directed an #acting #coaching client to do a very specific thing for a take, and we learned the direction was way outside the bounds of the material, which clarified, somehow concretely, an inner layer that was not what we had thought it was. Then we discovered new pieces we hadn't found before.

Wake to alarm, roll gently out of bed, stand naked, leaning heavily over night table, nose snozzle off, machine off, slowly stand upright.

Jenga blocks. Spine upright. Stand silent in dark. Run hands over head, shoulders, sides, belly.

Nothing sensuous in this, just...

"I am. I am alive. Me. I am a body intact. Still alive. Another day. Alive."

For me, the worrisome thoughts come before dawn, as I am still half asleep, dreaming under the blankets.

Why?

It seems like that is when my mind is coming back to wakefulness, but all the structures of being awake have not snapped into place in mind, channelling and limiting where my thoughts go.

1st person, 2nd person, 3rd person point of view?

Unclear.

That's when I hear inner voices speaking clearly.
