Just a friendly reminder that many (most?) FOSS apps are a result of someone putting in a lot of work in their spare time, for zero money. If you shit all over this work you will inevitably weaken the FOSS community as a whole. Most FOSS projects (like #Stencil, which was "reviewed" here) have an issue board for feature requests and feedback. This is not the App Store/Google Play, leave your drive-by one star reviews there. “PflasterKunst” (Pavement art)
Stencil art on a sidewalk in Brooklyn a few years ago. These were small, about the size of a pocketbook. I never learned who the artist was or whether this was “pure” art or an ad for something, but I think they’re striking — they remind me of the woodcut-style illustrations in a book of Norse mythology that I loved as a child.

Es gibt jetzt wieder einen funktionierenden 3D-Drucker in der @ro7 ! Wir haben die Möglichkeit mal genutzt, um das alte Filament in ein paar Spray-Stencil zu verwandeln.
Bisher sind ein Fedi-Logo :fediverse: , ein Piraten-P :pirat: und unser Piranha entstanden, letzteres braucht aber noch ein bisschen Feinschliff.
Wer die Filamentfarbe an den unbesprayten Rändern errät, darf sich den nächsten Stencil oder ein Sticker-Design von uns wünschen...

This version adds a GNOME Files (Nautilus) extension that lets you open Stencil directly from Files. If you're running Stencil in GNOME, installation of this extension can be triggered in Preferences.

Today we started solving the long delayed problem of filament chaos by building the first of at least three filament carts that fits exactly in that spot. Inspiration was taken from archives and pharmacy furniture. It’s mostly woodworking, but the handle had to be 3D printed.
