Welp, I'm committed.
Found the e-scooter I want to buy. Was able to open a new credit card (for the bonus) to basically give myself $200 off the purchase, because I already have the money saved up. Just going to pay all but the bonus credit amount, then take the bonus when it hits.
That and the store's discount (there's a sale) means about 23% off the purchase in total.
Not bad. Going to be back on the road again soon!

Finished 'The Boys' last night. I liked Season 5, but I can understand why others might not.
Here is how I rank the seasons, from best to worst:

I'm eager to enjoy the wider expansion of the Boys universe, though, with Vought Rising coming at some point in the near future.

CW: Regarding Weight Loss Drugs
So, I switched to an oral Wegovy tablet from a compound GLP-1 injectable a few weeks ago, and it's interesting.
The injectable made me get full faster. With Wegovy, I don't seem to get full faster, but I stay full for much longer, so if I eat a big lunch, I'm not hungry for dinner and end up snacking on a banana, peanuts or chips instead.
Even if I never lose another pound, not feeling hungry all the time is absolutely wonderful.

Being a small channel Youtuber is so weird.
I put up my new video a few hours ago and two people have subscribed since. One very nice follower gave me some positive feedback on the new video.

Second in-office day of the week and I am exhausted.
It's amazing to me how hard it is now to be at work physically and 'on', and my job is a good one and I like my coworkers, but when I get home at the end of the day I have energy for literally nothing. I sat down on my couch yesterday at 6PM, realized I had no motivation to do anything, poured a glass of wine, crawled into bed with my book, and crashed out at 8PM.

I am now a full week into being back into doing the treadmill every day. I'm already feeling a difference, so I opted to ratchet things up slightly and start adding around 10 minutes of jogging a day.
Boy I fucking hate running.
But also, I love how I feel once it's over. My body just feels amazing, and once I get my joints to a point where the shock doesn't bug them, it'll feel even better.

Another interesting note from today.
Heard the rental car employee talking and they only had seven total reservations today.
I am paying double for this rental compared to 2019.
And as much as I hate it, it's kinda good to hear people are generally not biting on these stupid prices. If I had a better option I'd have taken it.

Our derby league finished out the regular season last night with tied standings: 2 wins for every home team.
I love that I never, ever know who's going to win when I get ready to announce a Kansas City Roller Warriors bout.

Got a jackpot.
I ordered a copy of 'World of Ice and Fire' from Thriftbooks last Saturday for $11.
It's the premium, $50 hardcover edition, fully illustrated, and it's huge, and in amazing condition.
An absolute score.

Rewatching 'House of the Dragon' season 2, and it occurred to me that when this first aired, I didn't know what it was like to lose a brother.
And now I know exactly how Jace feels.

The Misfits thought they had the game won and called the jam.
The Vines called a time-out with one second remaining on the game clock.
So we get one last jam, and the Misfits, while not getting lead jammer, managed to corral the Vines and win by six points.
If you know derby, you know this is an amazing finish to any game.
Just awesome.

This last six months I have so, so enjoyed being able to take the train to a movie theater in downtown KC. The theater is right at the train stop, so it's like getting to be chauffered.
I got an email that it was being closed this weekend literally as I was listening to a video about the disappearance of third spaces yesterday.
I hate the billionaires and how they've fucking killed everything good in this country.
