All this talk of a new #JonSnow spinoff has me once again pushing back against the idea of spin-offs that don't have a basis in already-written #ASOIAF works.

George ain't perfect, but the man knows how to set up a fictional universe. These HBO shows are always better with his involvement, and I can't see a way they'd make anything interesting out of Jon Snow as a character without George's pre-existing material being there; which it isn't. 

Post-Stabbing Jon was boring as fuck in the show. Whilst we've never seen what his resurrection looks like on the page, I'm making what I think is a safe assumption when I say that I think George will handle it significantly better.
