@Satiah Well, I believe most of them sold but below expectations (aka, put $100M, expect $300M, receive $150M = below expectations).
I believe #EA thinks that deadpan franchises are more valuable being sold now to pay part of the debt, than later because they require to invest.
A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. It's $500M right now, or speculate in 4 years and may be receive less.

- #DeadSpace: survival horror doesn't sell
- #MirrorsEdge: parkour is too niche
- #CommandAndConquer: RTS is so 2000
- #DungeonKeeper: same
- #Populus: same
- #Burnout: market shifted to sims
- #ArmyOfTwo: they have BF
- #MedalOfHonor: same
- #Syndicate: sameIt's a large list. It's worth $500M, give or take. $1.7B to go LOL.

Over 24 hours since I opened a case to delete my EA account, and there has been no action on it.

aside from the ownership change - which is unquestionably bad itself - according to Bloomberg, EA also "will cut $700 million in annual costs including $170 million in "organizational efficiencies".
in other words: there's going to be another wave of mass layoffs.
I guess they'll have to either resign before layoffs proceed, or unionise ASAP.

Nevertheless, as far as young minds in local jurisdiction go, I still consider it quite an issue also in other contexts, for guys outside the regional political traditions, to get to freely broadcast a 'political ideology of sorts' as if a totally legit thing. Ideally, youth should be able to understand that stuff, such as that prohibition of other religions in Saudi Arabia, it's not something we are reverting back to, no matter the billions. But well...
