So many moral injuries and injustices have abound around me this past week, and Mother's Day, and just everything all together, has really made me super #Depressed and I can't help ruminating and crying about it, because it's all I can do.
Self-distraction is not working. Do I dare dive into a heavy psychedelic trip in my mental state? There's no such thing as a bad trip.

In terms of #philosophy, I think adopting a radical #humanist perspective is one of many paths to achieve moral clarity.
It can help explain why & how some arrive at damaged, demented, and unhinged worldviews which require The Others™ to be “unhumans”.
Once you are able to dehumanize others, you kill a part of your own soul, resulting in #MoralInjury and psychic wounds, whether you know it or not.
That injury, plus personality disorders, cognitive biases, and logical fallacies explains a lot.

The challenge with #AntiRacism as an ethos (which I support), is that if not paired with an active discipline in aid of #MentalHealth, a side-effect is on-going #MoralInjury.
Because once you see it, it becomes ubiquitous, omnipresent, and omnipotent.
That is intimidating and overwhelming, especially if people don’t permit themselves to feel #joy in the name of standing up to oppression, marginalization, and subjugation.
