I'm angrier at non-white, cowardly men - who should/often do know better but still choose to not use their male privileges to do anything much to help non-white women/children who suffer under patriarchal crap. I'm angrier at them because they choose to protect their personal privileges over doing better for non-white folks with lesser privileges.

A quelques jours du 1er mai, à Grenoble, une quinzaine d'inspecteurs du travail a manifesté pour dénoncer ce qu'ils estiment être des entraves à leur indépendance de la part de leur hiérarchie.
Ils n'étaient pas en grève et ont profité de la pause méridienne pour manifester leur colère : ce lundi 27 avril 2026, une quinzaine d'inspecteurs du travail étaient rassemblés devant le siège de la direction départementale de l'emploi, du travail et des solidarités de l'Isère (DDETS 38) à Grenoble.
Ils appellent à une nouvelle manifestation ce vendredi 1er mai.
"On est là pour expliquer ce qui se passe dans les services de l'inspection du travail de l'Isère, dénoncer les pratiques managériales de la direction et les atteintes à l'indépendance de l'inspection du travail", a déclaré une représentante du syndicat Sud de l'inspection du travail de l'Isère.
Les faits reprochés dateraient du 22 avril dernier : des courriers rédigés par des inspecteurs du travail de l'Isère à destination d'employeurs afin de les informer de leurs droits et obligations dans le cadre du 1er mai, jour férié et chômé, auraient été "interceptés" par la direction sans les en informer au préalable.
"Du jamais vu !"
Un autre représentant de Sud dénonce "l'hypocrisie" de la direction. Celle-ci aurait justifié son geste en ces termes :"C'était pour en prendre connaissance". Alors que, fait remarquer le représentant de Sud, "ces courriers sont accessibles pour tous sur le site commun".
Autre fait reproché : lorsque des inspecteurs ont demandé des explications à la direction, l'un d'eux aurait été physiquement expulsé du bureau de la direction. "La menace, l'intimidation, ils vont même jusqu'à utiliser la violence physique, tellement notre indépendance les insupporte."
Contactée et invitée à réagir, la direction n'a pas donné suite.
"Notre direction voudrait pouvoir interdire directement aux collègues de faire des contrôles le 1er mai"
Selon les syndicats, ce climat de tension avec la direction dure depuis un an et demi.
Il serait accentué par l'approche du 1er mai, jour où les inspecteurs du travail mènent habituellement des opérations de contrôle dans les commerces pour vérifier qu'ils ne font pas travailler de salariés ce jour-là.
Une règle que le gouvernement souhaite modifier pour autoriser, dans certains secteurs d'activité, les salariés volontaires à travailler ce jour-là moyennant une rémunération doublée.
Seulement, la proposition de loi a été rejetée par l'Assemblée nationale et a été reportée sine die.
Un représentant CGT de l'inspection du travail de l'Isère dénonce "l'attitude transgressive du gouvernement". Il s'explique : "Il annonce aux employeurs, en violation de la séparation des pouvoirs, qu'ils peuvent faire d'ores et déjà comme si la loi avait été adoptée.
Le gouvernement leur dit qu'il n'y aura pas de pénalités financières, or il n'y a que l'autorité judiciaire qui peut décider de prononcer des amendes !"
"La vérité c'est que notre direction voudrait pouvoir interdire directement aux collègues de faire des contrôles le 1er mai pour ne pas être mal vue par ceux qui détiennent leur carrière, ajoute une représentante de Sud.
Le problème c'est qu'ils ne le peuvent pas car nos missions sont protégées par une convention internationale."
Selon les syndicats, les inspecteurs du travail de l'Isère se retrouvent désormais face à un dilemme : "Soit, ils renoncent à réaliser les contrôles car ils ne se sentent plus soutenus par la direction soit ils les maintiennent avec le risque que cela se passe mal et avec comme réponse une direction qui sera absente pour défendre ses agents et rappeler le droit applicable."
