When I saw they were using Confetti Check A-OK as part of this thing I kind of figured they were going to do a parallel story of the whole founding of the project (and how Straker's family life fell apart) in parallel with some sort of doubled-up current-day story of the UFOs, making a parallel story tying the trainwreck that is Straker's personal life with the success that is the fight against the UFOs, or something like that, right?
But nah they just chained bits of a few episodes together with some random filler glue and told no story at all
