Bee sensible T-shirt

This is another organic cotton T-shirt in adult size from our Scientist and Philosopher range that we have produced on the Teemill platform. Our environment and all living things are under ever creasing pressure from the actions of the human species. We need to act sensibly towards the systems that have allowed us to live the lives we currently lead. Bees especially as well as other pollinators are responsible for much of the food we eat and we must therefore do all we can to keep them healthy. As an individual you can avoid using any man made chemicals in your gardens. On a larger scale you can join groups and protest the use of commercial agrochemicals in our food production.

Plants – The lungs of Earth T-shirt

Plants, the lungs of planet Earth, Scientist and Philosopher.

The natural world, the plants, the trees are the lungs of the Earth allowing the more complex living lifeforms to live and evolve. Without them or if we damage these systems too much ecosystems will start to break down. Unfortunately we have been battering natural systems with our human progress at least since we started agriculture perhaps 11 or 12 centuries ago. All plants and trees effectively “breathe” in some form or another but more now than ever it is important to stop both forest and other ecosystem destruction such as meadows and prairies. We must also review where we plant new trees and what sort of trees we plant if we plant them at all. Rewilding is not just about planting any seedling anywhere because complex ecosystems have developed over centuries and millennia. In leaving these remaining wildernesses alone we must as humans leave them in peace for true rewilding and evolution to take place.

Freedom of the seas T-shirt

This is the second Scientist and Philosopher T-shirt in the Freedom of the seas – Protect our oceans series (design V2B). It is printed on an organic cotton T-shirt so hopefully lighter environmental loading than many other materials.

The seas and oceans of the world are suffering in so many ways. There’s plastic pollution and acidification. They have absorbed the majority of the heat caused by burning fossil fuels and are filled with various forms of our industrial waste. Our ships make the world beneath the waves incredibly noisy. They also kill creatures such as whales directly. All the waters are over fished subsidised with fossil fuels and some of the catch fed to herbivore farm animals. We humans have and are continuing to completely mess up this part of our small planet.

Bee sensible T-shirt

This is another organic cotton T-shirt in adult size from our Scientist and Philosopher range that we have produced on the Teemill platform. This version of the T-shirt is with white lettering for the darker colours.

Our environment and all living things are under ever increasing pressure from the actions of the human species. We need to act sensibly towards the systems that have allowed us to live the lives we currently lead. Bees especially as well as other pollinators are responsible for much of the food we eat and we must therefore do all we can to keep them healthy. As an individual you can avoid using any man made chemicals in your gardens. On a larger scale you can join groups and protest the use of commercial agrochemicals in our food production.

A cold, dark and empty universe T-shirt

So sweep up leaves by all means but leave them piled up so hedgehogs can have some fun. It’s a two way street when it comes to hedgehogs, help them and they’ll help you.
